About the Author
Ted St. Martin holds the world record for the most consecutive free throws at 5,221, and his record-setting ball is in the Basketball Hall of Fame. He has spent 35 years conducting basketball shooting shows and clinics nationwide. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida.

I first read this book in high school and if you apply the techniques it preaches (and most importantly GET SHOTS UP EVERY DAY) you will amaze yourself at how much you improve. It covers more or less every sensible shot in basketball (including hook shots and dunking), and explains things clearly, kind of if you were trying to teach a child something. Over the years I haven't been able to play as much as I would have liked, and have not been shooting as well as I should be so I re-purchased the book for that reason. I haven't lost the competitive nature to want to be a sharp shooter and I know retracing my steps with this book will put me back where I need to be. Moral of the story: book is a great tool for someone trying to make themselves a better shooter.

This book is awesome. It really helped me with my shooting. I love the authors writing and how he tells you what to do in simple steps. I learned how to free throw with this book! Now I can help my team out more and make jumpshots with a rush.
