it wasn’t easy to hide Behind the leafy bush he had chosen ...

I am a fan of Sigal Adler's children books. Her stories have a catchy rhyme and the artwork is colorful and done with humor. WHO STOLE MY NEWSPAPER is a little mystery, and uncle Jake is quite distraught over it:
Uncle Jake was angry and filled with grief
I must find a way to catch that nasty thief
The question bothers him to such a degree that he resorts to spying:
Uncle Jake is quite round; it wasn’t easy to hide
Behind the leafy bush he had chosen outside
Unfortunately, he ends up jumping to the wrong conclusion and accuses the neighbor’s boy, the one with red hair. By the end of the book, once he solved the confusion, “Jake learned to think twice before jumping to a conclusion.”

Missing Paper Mystery??

A very delightful read. I will definitely share with my second grade classroom this next school year. They will enjoy the catchy rhyming and mystery. We write our own paper for the rest of our grade school so, this will be a cute incentive to use to make sure my carriers get each and every paper delivered. I will definitely read more of this authors books. Thanks for the charming read.
